I’m Kiki Flynn here at Land Yoga. And this is how to extend your heel touch. Heel touches strengthen and tone our oblique. To increase the strength of that oblique we are going to use yoga poses to extend the opposite side. We can experience the benefits of that yoga extension by reaching here from the floor. Lets see that extension and thus get more oblique tone over here. Bring your hand along your side for the heel touch. And really moving from the extension rather then the contraction lets see the heel touch. Good, extending. And other way, extending. And extending. Good. This is a great position for the neck. We don’t want a collapse the neck and chin. And very good form. We can see the action here. You can start with 20 a day. And over the course of a week add 20 more until you are doing a 100 heel touches. And rest.
