Hi, I’m Kiki Flynn and this is what is the yoga pose where you lie on the floor and place your right ankle over your left knee? Working on your feet all day or sitting in a chair all day creates incredible fatigue, back pain and tired hips. We can take this yoga pose to open our hips, relax our back and release shoulder tension. We begin with light steady yoga breathing through the nose. And we are going to release our hips and alleviate back discomfort. With an easy inhalation bring your right ankle over the left knee. And if your knee is comfortable we’re safe to go the next step. Inhale, loop your arms around your thigh. Take hold. And just stay here. This is not about forcing the knee. It’s about softening the hip. Both hips are at ease. And inhale. Exhale, draw the legs a little closer. And if you can take both hands around the shin here. We’re just taking a few easy breaths on our back. And this is a lot of flexibility here. Only if you have comfort will you try this. Inhale, lets tuck the head up. Soft gaze at the tip of the nose. Everything in tight. We have overall firmness, tone and release. Exhale gently back. And then very comfortably, very easily release the knee. We’ll take our foot to the floor and both feet to the floor.
